GENERAL INFORMATION 

Dr. Anita David has worked in Obstetrics and Gynecology for the past 18 years in the capacity of trainee and consultant.

She initially trained and obtained her Diploma in OBG (DGO) at the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, which is a large tertiary center and world-renowned medical college and hospital.

She trained further in Bangalore Baptist Hospital obtaining the Diplomate of the National Board (DNB). Bangalore Baptist Hospital, a wing of CMC, Vellore, is a national center of excellence for DNB and has postgraduates in all specialties. It was also affiliated with Malaysian Medical University for undergraduate training and examinations.

Dr Anita has been working as a consultant at St Philomena’s Hospital, in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2013.

Apart from a busy clinical practice in both obstetrics and gynecology, she was involved in postgraduate teaching and training, conducted clinical studies and published articles in various journals. She has been faculty in various national and international conferences conducted by the Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She has also one of the editors of the Clinical Journal of St Philomena’s Hospital.  

Dr. Anita David is well versed in handling high-risk pregnancy and all obstetric procedures and surgery. 

Her major area of interest is gynecological surgery which includes hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and vaginal/pelvic floor operations.

She is currently working as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist in JPMC, Brunei which is a department with all the facilities for modern practice like office ultrasound and hysteroscopy and strives to give our patients the very best.
