Mr Fakhruddin is a Visiting ENT Consultant in JPMC with his primary ENT practice is at RIPAS hospital. He completed his ENT training in Guys and St Thomas Hospital London in July 2015. He completed his basic medical degree in Trinity College Dublin and returned to Brunei following this to complete his basic surgical training prior to returning to the United Kingdom to pursue his Higher specialty training in Guys and St Thomas in 2010.

Mr Fakhruddin’s main practice covers all aspects of general adult and peadiatrics ENT surgery. ENT department in Guys and St Thomas hospital is considered one of the most prestigious tertiary referral hospitals as well as being one of UK’s largest cochlear implant implant centre, tertiary head and neck cancer centre and a tertiary peadiatric ENT unit with very experienced consultants as trainers. His unique training experience in London has enabled him to gain a very wide experience  within his field and hence his wide ranging specialty interests. These include thyroid surgery, snoring and sleep apnoea, ear surgery including hearing implants, pediatrics airway as well as management of nasal and sinus conditions.

He is one of the first surgeons to have performed laser airway surgery on a Pediatrics patient in RIPAS hospital. He is also actively involved in teaching trainee doctors and medical students and in is also undertaking several audits and projects in his department in RIPAS hospital.
