Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) Breaks Fast with Learning Ladder Society

As part of the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) annual charity project during Ramadhan, JPMC held a recitation of Surah Yassin & Tahlil, Iftar and presented donations to the students of Learning Ladders Society at I-Lotus Restaurant yesterday to help them prepare for the upcoming Hari Raya festivities. Learning Ladders Society is a registered non-profit local organization that is committed to the advocacy and support for children with Autism and their families.  

The Guest of Honour present for the event, Yang Mulia Tuan Hj Maswadi bin Hj Mohsin, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health in his capacity as one of the JPMC Board members, the gathering also included the JPMC Senior Management, Head of Departments, President and Co-founder of Learning Ladders Society, Dr. Sharina Binti Hj Yunus, with the staff and members of Learning Ladders Society and congregants from the Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque as well as the staff of JPMC. 

The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Yassin followed by Tahlil led by Yang Mulia Imam Haji Kamaruzaman bin Haji Jakar. The donation presentation was presented by Yang Mulia Tuan Hj Maswadi bin Hj Mohsin to the students of Learning Ladders Society. The guests who attended the event were then treated to the breaking of the fast after the event.  

Yang Mulia Tuan Hj Maswadi bin Hj Mohsin emphasized on the need to help others in life especially during the Holy Month of Ramadhan as well as our day-to-day lives. By doing kind deeds, it connects us to others, spreading a positive impact on others, creating stronger communities and it helps to build a happier society for everyone.
