JPMC APPOINTS SEAMEO VOCTECH AS QUALITY CUSTOMER CARE TRAINING PROVIDER

8th June 2022 – Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre,  Brunei Darussalam (SV) held a contract signing ceremony yesterday, 7th June 2022, to commemorate their agreement for SV to provide Quality Customer Care training services to JPMC personnel for a period of two years commencing 1st June 2022.

The agreement was signed by Ms Bun Pei Ling, in her capacity as Acting Chief Operating Officer, and Mr Chris Carvalho, Hospital Administrator, on behalf of JPMC and Mr Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar as the Centre Director and Pengiran Haji Mohamad Sufri bin Pengiran Ali, Deputy Director of Administration, on behalf of SV. Present to grace and witness the ceremony was the Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad in his capacity as Permanent Secretary (Higher Education), Ministry of Education.

With this agreement, both parties agreed to the provision of an in-house service training programme that caters specifically to the hospital’s employees, in all levels of their customer-centric careers. In line with the Hospital’s Joint Commission International (JCI) quality standards, the collaboration is aimed to enhance their personal service skills, foster professional development in the provision of excellent, high-quality care experiences to their patients and establish a warm culture that contributes to a prosperous society, as valued by Brunei Darussalam’s national philosophy of “Melayu Islam Beraja (MIB).”
