The Jerudong Park Medical Centre Recycles Paper To Go Green

Event Date: Thursday, 25th April 2019

Being environmentally friendly has always been apart of Jerudong Park Medical Centre’s (JPMC) initiative; it is a role that the world needs to play and here in JPMC. In conjunction with the World Earth Day along with the theme “Protect Our Species.” We fully support the green initiative to help drive the world to promote green living that helps to conserve energy, prevent air, water and noise pollution.

Starting with recycling certain reusable materials, old newspapers, cardboard boxes and old magazines were collected from each department. By recycling paper material, we help to conserve natural resources, save energy, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Such initiative also reduces the need for raw materials to help preserve our rainforest that acts as a home to the wildlife species.

JPMC has collaborated with Daikyo Environmental Recycling Sdn Bhd, a local recycling company on this green initiative and managed to collect over 700 kilograms of recyclable paper material.

JPMC encourages each and everyone to hold a green initiative which helps to create a sustainable earth for the better quality of life of every sentient being on this planet and JPMC shall continue to maintain this aspect to reduce unnecessary waste and ecological scarcities.
